CROP-TO-CUP COLLECTION

Four mugs. One coffee journey.

Coffee’s story starts long before the first sip. This four-mug collection follows the journey from where coffee grows to the moment it lands in your cup. Each mug represents a different stage of the process, creating a coordinating set that celebrates the people, places, and craftsmanship behind every brew.

GROWING & HARVESTING

PROCESSING

ROASTING

BREWING

Coffee begins on the farm, where cherries are carefully grown and harvested at peak ripeness.

After harvest, the fruit is removed and the coffee is carefully processed, revealing the seeds that will eventually become the beans we roast.

Green coffee is transformed through heat, developing the flavors, aromas, and character we recognize in the cup.

The journey comes together when water meets roasted coffee, bringing everything from farm to roast into the final cup.

Bryce's Take

Why You'll Love It

If you love smooth, chocolatey coffee with caramel sweetness, this is where I'd start.

Some coffees are exciting because they're unusual. This one is exciting because you'll want to drink it every day.Nicaragua SHG is rich, balanced, and approachable, with comforting chocolate and caramel flavors that never feel bitter or overwhelming. The toasted almond finish is perhaps the best part! If you're looking for a dependable coffee that tastes great no matter how you brew it, this is one of my favorite recommendations.

Bryce's Recommendation

If you told me you wanted one coffee that could do just about everything, this is the bag I'd hand you. It's rich without being heavy, smooth without being boring, and versatile enough to shine whether you're brewing a pot for the family or pulling a shot of espresso. It's one of the easiest coffees on my menu to recommend.

About This Coffee

+

Nicaragua has quietly become one of Central America's most respected coffee origins, producing coffees celebrated for their balance, sweetness, and remarkable consistency. This coffee comes from a network of dedicated smallholder farming families who cultivate coffee in the country's mountainous growing regions, where rich volcanic soils, abundant rainfall, and cool temperatures create ideal conditions for exceptional Arabica.

Graded SHG (Strictly High Grown), this coffee is grown at elevations where cherries ripen more slowly, allowing greater sweetness, density, and complexity to develop before harvest. It is also classified as EP (European Preparation), meaning the beans have been carefully hand-sorted to remove defects, resulting in a cleaner and more consistent cup.

While each farm is modest in size, generations of experience and careful attention to every harvest come together to create a coffee that reflects the best of Nicaragua. The result is a smooth, approachable cup with balanced acidity, natural sweetness, and a comforting finish—proof that exceptional specialty coffee often begins with the dedication of small farming communities working together.
