In 2000, 62 Honduran farmers united to form COMSA (Cafe Organico Marcala, S.A), transforming their farms from conventional to organic production. By 2001, they earned organic certification and in 2006, achieved Fair Trade status.
Today, COMSA uses their Fair Trade premium to fund teachers' salaries, school supplies, and kitchen construction for the Merienda Escolar program, providing meals for local children. Every cup supports quality coffee, sustainable farming, and thriving communities.

This coffee works well in a pourover or automatic coffee maker. We suggest a slightly coarser grind and a 194f water temperature if using the pourover method.
