Today, that cooperative has grown to more than 2,000 farming families, all working together to improve coffee quality while investing in the communities they call home. Through Fair Trade premiums, La Florida has funded schools, healthcare services, clean water systems, road improvements, agricultural training, and programs that help farmers diversify their income and care for the environment.
