Coffee begins on the farm, where cherries are carefully grown and harvested at peak ripeness.
After harvest, the fruit is removed and the coffee is carefully processed, revealing the seeds that will eventually become the beans we roast.
Green coffee is transformed through heat, developing the flavors, aromas, and character we recognize in the cup.
The journey comes together when water meets roasted coffee, bringing everything from farm to roast into the final cup.

This coffee comes from the La Florida Cooperative in Peru’s Chanchamayo region. The cooperative began in 1966, when 50 growers joined together to gain a stronger position against buyers paying very low prices.
La Florida supports its producers with coffee processing, quality control, training, and education. Its history also describes Fair Trade–related investment in community, health, and education initiatives.
In the cup, our Organic Peru La Florida offers milk chocolate, pear, and toffee notes with a smooth finish.
