Rwanda Cyesha
Tasting notes: cranberry | lime | honey
This Rwanda lot comes from Muraho Trading Company’s Cyesha Coffee Washing Station in Nyamasheke.
Cyesha’s coffees are shaped by volcanic soil, high elevations up to 1,800 meters, and the nearby Lake Kivu. Cool winds moving off the lake and through the surrounding hills create ideal drying conditions, helping preserve clarity and sweetness in the cup.
Quality is the focus at every step. Only red-ripe cherries are accepted, then carefully inspected, hand-sorted, and run through an intensive floating process. The coffee is pulped and dry fermented for 12 hours, then washed, graded, and soaked before moving to pre-drying for additional hand sorting—finishing on raised drying tables for a meticulous, consistent result.

Brew recommendation
We prefer a slightly finer grind and a 204F water temp! This helps highlight the fruit forward sweetness and tart cranberry finish! We suggest brewing this coffee utilizing the pourover method.
